'For Nouveau Brides' was created from my passion in weddings, and also as a way for me to collect and curate ideas for my own future wedding (fingers crossed!). Like many before me, I have planned my dream wedding ever since I was a little kid. I would always beam with joy whenever my older cousins asked me to go with them to the bridal store to help them pick out their dresses. I would soak up all the glitzy goodness with awe, it all just felt so magical. I also dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, so I would often bring my whole stationary kit so I could sketch designs inspired by what I saw at the stores.​

Now years later, I still feel like that awestruck little kid whenever I encountered any sort of wedding-related stuff. You know what they say, old roots die hard! Even though I haven't been able to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer, I am still passionate about it, particularly fashion styling. So I thought why not combine my love for weddings and styling and turn this blog into my means of expression-slash-idea board?

My taste in weddings have evolved over the years and this blog is especially dedicated to modern, contemporary or unconventional wedding concepts as I feel those styles suit me best.
